Diagnostics and Treatments
Pure tone audiometry is a behavioral test used to measure hearing sensitivity in
a person and also helps in identifying hearing thresholds , degree of hearing loss, type and configuration of a hearing loss.
A tympanometry test can assess the tympanic membrane and middle ear function and
help to detect fluid in the ear or any kind of infection.
The primary purpose of Otoacoustic Emission(OAE) tests is to determine cochlear status,specifically hair cell function. It’s a good screening test for hearing in newborn and also in children and even for adults.

The vestibular evoked myogenic potential is a neurophysiological assessment technique used to determine the function of the otolithic organs of the inner ear.
Craniocorpography (CCG) is a neuro-tological investigation to evaluate the vestibulospinal reflex, which is responsible for the maintenance of balance during gait testing.

A cochlear Implant is a surgically implanted device to provide a person with moderate to profound sensorineural hearing loss .Unlike Hearing aids, which amplify sound, a cochlear implant bypasses damaged portion of the ear to deliver sound signals to the auditory nerve.
